Summary

In this presentation, we will be introducing the LPC3250 bootloader, what it is and how we use it in conjunction with the NXP common driver library or CDL. The CDL is a comprehensive collection of driver code which NXP developed for the LPC3250. We will show how to build the CDL using free GNU tools. Then, we will describe the Kickstart and Stage1 loader code. These are codes that reside on the LPC3250 Phytec Board NAND flash which among other things allow for user code booting and execution.
